Head in the stars, the clown trips over his feet on the carpet of flowers.
A true walking and talking heart, he drags all the world’s humanity in his knapsack.

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been fascinated by clowning... As a child, I was fascinated with Charlie Chaplin: his gentle, naive, empathic look at society was sure to make me laugh and, two seconds later, make me cry. He had this ability to reach the hearts of young and old alike, with humility and sincerity...

I truly fell in love with clowning when I attended the Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique de Québec. Thanks to my great mentor, Marc Doré (an eminent disciple of Jacques Lecoq), I learned how an actress can exploit her simplicity and vulnerability to evoke the universal and what it means to be Human with a capital H: with all our qualities and faults, our intelligence, our fragility and our magnificent stupidity.

Oh, how I love clowning... I will never get tired of exploring this humble, delicate, touching, funny and playful acting genre. Acting for the sake of acting. Acting in its purest form, so close to childhood play, and offering so many possibilities!

I consider this to be an incredible opportunity for me to join such a beautiful and great family like that of L’Aubergine who will soon be turning 45 years old! I feel privileged and blessed to take on the task of making sure the dream of Paul, Josette and Lina lives on. I sure have big shoes to fill... Thanks for your vote of confidence. Thanks for this beautiful playing field. And special thanks to Christine Rossignol who led the company for the last five years with generosity and creativity.
